2006 Silvano Salon, Udine
Interior design project for a barber shop
In continuity with the salon’s long-standing tradition, the project introduces a renewed yet respectful reinterpretation of the existing furnishings. Most of the original elements were preserved and enhanced through a new chromatic identity, highlighted by a large mural artwork created in collaboration with the artist duo Marotta & Russo.
The intervention generates a warmer and more enveloping atmosphere while maintaining a contemporary character, visually expanding the perception of space through the artistic installation. The repositioning of waiting areas, magazine holders and custom-designed coat racks contributes to an innovative and convivial environment, redefining the use of the space in harmony with its history.
