2011–2017 Late 17th-century villa, Moruzzo (UD)

Restoration project of the villa within the Castello di Brazzà complex in Moruzzo
A project aimed at restoring the villa, once the residence of the renowned explorer Pietro Savorgnan di Brazzà. The building dates back to the late 17th century and is part of the historic Castello di Brazzà complex.
Significant interventions were carried out through multiple phases, involving both interior and exterior spaces, with the goal of an organic historical restoration capable of bringing the villa back to its 18th-century splendor. Functional, plant-engineering and structural upgrades highlight the stylistic and historical qualities of the place. A conservative intervention, respectful of the historical and architectural character of the complex, adapts the spaces to new residential, managerial and exhibition needs within an atmosphere rich in cultural identity.
